Levante & Poniente Beaches
Benidorm's two Blue Flag beaches flank either side of the rocky headland. Levante (east) is livelier and more family-friendly. Poniente (west) is quieter and more relaxed. Both have excellent facilities and the calmest sea in summer.
Terra Mítica Theme Park
One of Spain's best theme parks, with rides themed around ancient Mediterranean civilisations (Greece, Rome, Egypt, Iberia). Great for teenagers and adults. Budget a full day. Book tickets online for a discount.
Aqualandia Water Park
The biggest water park on the Costa Blanca. Located next to Terra Mítica — many visitors combine both parks in one trip. Excellent slides, wave pool and kids' zone. Open June–September.
Sierra Helada Natural Park
The "Frozen Mountain" natural park sits right behind Benidorm and is almost entirely missed by tourists. Coastal hiking trails with spectacular views of Benidorm's skyline from above. Free to enter — take the path from Rincón de Loix.
The Old Town (Casco Antiguo)
Most tourists miss Benidorm's charming old town, perched on the headland between the two beaches. Blue-domed church of San Jaime, narrow whitewashed streets, excellent seafood restaurants and a sunset viewpoint that's genuinely spectacular.
🌙 Benidorm Nightlife Zones
Benidorm has one of the most concentrated nightlife scenes in Europe — but it's split into distinct zones, each with a very different vibe.
🇬🇧 English Square (Levante)
The heart of anglophone nightlife — bars, karaoke, pub quizzes and tribute act venues catering primarily to British tourists. Lively from 9pm, peaks around midnight. Very friendly, very loud, very good fun. Located just back from Playa de Levante.
🎶 Zona de Levante — Main Club Strip
Benidorm's main clubbing zone runs along Paseo de Levante and the streets behind it. Clubs here hold thousands of people and run from midnight to 6am. KU Club and Penélope are the most famous venues. Expect commercial dance music, foam parties and big-name DJs in high season.
🎸 Rincón de Loix — Live Music & Bars
The quieter alternative for a slightly older crowd (30+). Live music bars, rock venues and quieter cocktail bars in the northern end of Levante. Less hectic than the main strip but still vibrant. Ideal if you want a good night out without the mega-club chaos.
