Our Recommendations

🌿 Best Overall: May & October

Warm enough to swim, beaches are quieter and prices are much lower. October still gets 24°C — genuinely excellent beach weather with a fraction of the summer crowds.

☀️ Peak Season: July & August

Hottest and busiest. The promenade is buzzing, entertainment is non-stop and the beaches are packed. Great for those who want the full Benidorm experience.

🎄 Winter Sun: Nov–Feb

Benidorm is one of Europe's best winter sun destinations. 17–18°C in January, very few tourists, cheap hotel deals and a surprisingly vibrant older British expat scene.

💡 Insider tip: September is the sweet spot

September in Benidorm means 28°C, sea temperatures of 25°C, and a noticeable drop in crowds after Spanish school holidays begin. Prices fall by 20–30% vs August. It's the single best month to visit.
